Left comments On Labor Problems (3 pamphlets)

The Labor Research Association (LRA) was a Communist-sponsored organization that provided information about the economy to trade unions and other mass organizations.  In addition to a monthly newsletter, Economic Notes, the LRA also published pamphlets like those shown here:  its own “Wages and Profits in Wartime,” “The Injunction Menace,” by Charlotte Todes (1932), and William Z. Foster’s “Defeat the Anti-Labor Smith Bill” (1952).  The last-named dealt with a piece of legislation that was used to indict and convict the leaders of the U. S. Communist Party.
